I am Ruben from Belgian Beer Stories, and I have a special announcement. We have decided to also be a candidate to buy Groenland. Because apparently Greenland is for sale.

Before talking about our kandidatuur I want to talk about Donald Trump and his idea to buy Groenland.

Honestly, it doesn’t make sense for Trump to buy Groenland. Zijn lievelingscolour is clearly red. He always wears a red plastron and his famous red maga klakske. If he wants to buy a land, it would make more sense to buy a red land. Like China by example! Their flag is already red, so it has more "conceptual consistency," as they say that.

But me? My lievelingscolour is green. I have a green car, a greene frak, and zelfs greene eyes. I even like green traffic lights better than red traffic lights. So Greenland is perfect for me. It’s not just a name. Also I believe in a green future, also something Donald Trump is not really for. Because he cuts the green agenda everytime he can.

Donald Trump wants to buy Greenland to bring the "American culture", but what does that mean precise? More military basisses everywhere and a healthcare system that does not pay you back when you have a problem. You have to sell an arm to buy a plakker! But if I buy Groenland, I would bring Belgian culture — beer and chocolat for everybody! And we would implement the Belgian government system, we can make everything so difficult that no other country even wants to get involved. I propose that the Greenlanders choose who they want to sell to. Do they want tanks and guns, or just a good beer and some chocolat. The choice is yours!

But yes, Greenland is very expensive, and the bank does not want to give me a loan. So I am organising a crowdfunding!

Together we can buy Greenland and make sure it does not change into red-land. If we do not raise enough money to outright buy Greenland, We will use the money to organise a humanitarian mission. We will buy Belgian beer and ship it to Greenland, were we will donate it to the local population. That way we can introduce the Belgian culture to the Greenlandic people in a friendly way.
